as rated by VisitScotland. We also include other good
hotels, perhaps locally important ones where consumer
choice is limited; or good hotels not included in the grading
scheme operated by VisitScotland. Before a Review is
included here, one of the HRS team of Reviewers will
have stayed as an ordinary guest. The Editor receives a
great deal of feedback, published and not, from readers
and this keeps the guide up-to-date and accurate. In the
annual awards, HRS readers (and those of many other
websites and media) vote. So we value your views very
