New restaurant opening 1st April 2009 at Rocpool Reserve Inverness
Inverness’s only 5 star hotel is pleased to announce that Albert Roux OBE is to open his first restaurant in Scotland. The multi-award winning chef, often cited as the most influential of his profession, has announced his plans to take-over the kitchens of Rocpool Reserve, Inverness.
Speaking as he hosted a gourmet introductory weekend at Rocpool Reserve, Mr Roux said: “When I was first invited to Rocpool Reserve I was astounded by the hotel’s elegance and style, which I think is unrivalled outside London.”
The focus will be on French Country Cooking that can be found on any kitchen table around France with the added touch of using local produce. It is the type of food Albert Roux grew up with and enjoys cooking.
