The Scottish Hotel Of The Year Awards 2009

Our Partners

We treat this whole project as a partnership between HotelReview Scotland, our Scottish hotel members, and our valued travel customers and users, past present and potential. We have a very customer centric approach to all that we do. We are particularly indebted to the undernoted:

Destination Scotland

The Destination Scotland network, owned by Cali Net, is currently the largest web traffic generator in Scottish travel and hotels, with daily visitors to its 30 odd strong core and satellite site travel network of around 15000 per day (only exceeded by Visit Scotland, and at a fraction of the cost!).

Destination Scotland will partner with HotelReview Scotland to leverage its range of travel services for the benefit of both hotels and travel buyers/consumers. As it comes much more from a destination (with its own dedicated highly ranking promotional sites for Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, St Andrews, Edinburgh and Perthshire) and a travel product (e.g. short breaks, seasonal breaks, romantic breaks, spa activity and golf breaks) perspective, and is much more commercial, ecommerce enabled and end market facing – it’s partnering and converging with HotelReview Scotland will bring a whole new dimension to, and open out extensive business and revenue opportunities, to HRS members and users.

The Editor's Top Picks For January

Each month our hotel reviewers visit hotels throughout Scotland - for example from city hotels in Glasgow, boutique hotels in Edinburgh, Dundee, Inverness or Aberdeen, to small hotels on the islands or in the Highlands. We try out everything from golf hotels in St Andrews, or a hotel with a growing reputation for good food, to a romantic hotel in Perthshire, or maybe a new Scottish hotel - all kinds of places. The Editor looks over all reviews and chooses the best for each month. Below is our Editors recommendations:
